Excellent breakfasts, we had an all day breakfast and a vegetarian version, could not fault it. Great coffee too! We will be back!
Such a gorgeous little cafe, with the friendliest staff. This is the 3rd time we've been in, and the food and service is always great. Everything is always cooked fresh and is delicious. The displays in the shop are amazing, a huge collection of vintage items, I notice something different each time we visit! There is also a great old school sweet shop located inside the cafe, and they have a great selection. We visited just before Christmas this time and they had some homemade chutneys on offer too so we picked one up for our cheese board and it went down very well with our guests! Will definitely be back next time we're back up north!
This place is a gem! Great service, delicious food and fantastic decorations. Really enjoyed our time there I'd recommend their Yorkshire tea loaf
Charmingly quirky with friendly and efficient service. They serve a tasty pot of tea in a 'proper' teapot! Although no cups & saucers, the mugs are fine china so still nice to drink from. We had delicious bacon sandwiches for brunch. Clearly popular with regulars and apparently so with cyclists - although none in evidence at our visit - it was very busy at around noon.
A truly vintage cafe & sweet emporium. So quirky, you can't help but smile as you take in all the vintage memorabilia that adorn the walls and shelves. Even the toilet is a throw back to 1920 ( I guess ) The treacle tart and ginger cake were lovely and washed down with proper tea , yum. There is parking around 75m around the back. Will certainly return.
Great venue and exceptional service. Had a mini breakfast about 3 per toast or tea bread item. Lovely fire in the side room and the sweet shop is a kids or grandparents treat.
A lovely place for a coffee and some food with the added bonus of a sweet shop there too and the staff was lovely too
This is a gem of a tea shop. We were taken back to childhood with the sweet jars and curiosities on show inside. Fantastic food and warm, friendly hosts!
